Jake is CrossFit Level 1 and CrossFit Level 2 certified and also holds his certificate in Competitors Training. He is CPR/AED certified through the American Heart Association. Jake has an extensive weight training background of 5+ years. He is continuously pursuing advanced training certifications.
Jake has been a dedicated hockey player since the age of four. Jake played travel hockey for the Renegades and continued playing through high school representing Hunterdon Central. After graduation he went to Raritan Valley Community College where he pursued his associates degree in Liberal Arts of Business. He played hockey for Raritan Valley for one year and then decided to focus his attention on his career as he knew he belonged coaching in the fitness industry. He is passionate about living a healthy lifestyle and wanted to share that with others. He knew he could make an impact in people’s lives.
In 2014 Jake opened the doors to CrossFit PowerHour with his sister Nicki. They both believe in inspiring others. They feel there is nothing more rewarding than hearing positive feedback from their members. Their vision is simple; provide a shelter in the daily storm of life where people can come unwind and get a good workout. They are dedicated to their members and making sure they are treated like family.
